As Agile becomes increasingly popular across the globe, the need to bring Enterprise Architecture into alignment with this transformational methodology has become more urgent. Traditional EA does not offer agility, and by redefining the paradigm of EA to fit within the agile culture, project goals can be steered in the required direction. TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) is the global de facto standard for Enterprise Architecture. It provides a unified approach for the design, planning, execution and government of enterprise information technology architecture.

ArchiMate 3 is an open and independent modeling language for Enterprise Architecture. It complements The Open Group Architectural Framework (TOGAF), although it is not dependent on TOGAF. ArchiMate 3 offers architects a notation methodology for describing, analyzing, and visualizing relationships among entities in business, data, application, and technology domains. ArchiMate can also be used to support other modeling languages, such as UML for software development and BPMN for business process modeling.

The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) is a framework for enterprise architecture that provides an approach for designing, planning, implementing, and governing an enterprise information technology architecture. This intensive course covers the entire syllabus for the TOGAF 9.1 Foundation Level, thereby preparing candidates for the TOGAF Level 1 examination. Sample exam questions and answers for the Level 1 examination are given throughout the course to help better prepare students for their TOGAF 9.1 Level 1 exams.
