Learn The World Standard Image-Editing and Layout Programs for Print Design Taking this class, you can learn the basics and some advanced techniques in digital design using the 3 top Graphics Programs in the Design industry: Adobe InDesign, PhotoShop, and Illustrator. Learn basic design principles of composing graphics on a page and balancing forms to make a pleasing image. Learn how to import and compose layouts with images developed in Illustrator and Photoshop into Adobe InDesign, and then Export them into AdobeAcrobat PDF, JPEG, GIF and PNG formats for use in both Print and Web Design. We will work on your chosen projects from Business cards to newsletters. This class will prepare the dedicated student for classes starting in September, where we will take our design skills using the Adobe programs on into projects in Web Design using WordPress. Classes will meet one evening per week with project assignments, and online email support throughout the week. For an individual studying Computer Graphics, studying Adobe Illustrator, Indesign, and Photoshop here are the requirements: Required: 1 @ Working PC laptop computer Windows 8 +or above or Mac OSX 10.11+ 1 @ Student Access to Adobe Creative Suite or Creative Cloud products either as working applications or subscriptions For access, see administrative personnel or download source Suggested: Apple iPad, or Samsung Galaxy Tab Tablet Apps (iOS: Art Studio Pro, Galaxy Tab:???) Drawing Stylus Wish List: Wacom Cintiq Additional printed materials (textbooks) will be made available, and a list of suggested outside purchases of textbooks will be available. Book for the 12 week course(12 classes) at $450. This includes online support via email. This is a 12 unit course with take home project assignments
