Complete an editing project from start to finish all using one program! Become a DaVinci Resolve Certified User! Over three days, this hands-on course will cover the complete editing workflow including: setting up projects importing & managing media editing clips in the timeline working with titles graphics audio and video effects, as well as sound mixing basic color correction and finishing and delivering a project The course culminates in a certification exam, so you can walk away as a DaVinci Resolve Certified User. Prerequisites: A working knowledge of Windows or Macintosh or operating systems A background or experience in editing, production, or post-production is recommended Course Outline Day 1 Learn how to edit and assemble a rough cut, work in the timeline, create transitions and effects, and work with audio on the Edit page. Day 2 Learn how to mix sound in Fairlight, some basic color correction including primary grading, secondary correction, and creating looks. Go over how to conform a project from XML. You will also get an overview of Fusion. Day 3 Go over deliver options, media and database management, multicamera editing, and the certification exam. Other Important Notes: $40 Book fee and Certification Exam are included in the Course price Students must have graduated high school and be at least 18 years old by the beginning of the program. Course subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met prior to the start of class. Students will be notified via email. Please bring a picture ID to enter the building, and anything that you will use for notes such as pen/paper or tablet.
