Do you need a board of advisors or a board of directors or both? Whether startup or growing enterprise, there comes a time when you'll need additional people on your team, whether to provide leadership and fiduciary responsibility or to provide needed expertise and strategic introductions. Starting a nonprofit? You may be required to have a board of directors. Have a for-profit that's considering attracting investors? Will a great advisory board or board of directors help get you that check? Join us the evening of October 11 as we discuss the benefits and challenges of having a board of advisors or board of directors. Speaking on our panel will be - Alicia Syrett, founder of Point 25, an initiative connecting entrepreneurs together with advisors and founder & CEO of Pantegrion Capital, an angel investment vehicle focused on seed and early stage investments. Ms. Syrett is a recurring panelist for CNBC's PowerPitch and MSNBC's Your Business and has been in numerous media, including CNBC's Make Me a Millionaire Inventor,Forbes, Inc., Entrepreneur, NPR's Marketplace and PBS. - Craig Delsack is an entrepreneurial lawyer with a former background at Greenberg Traurig and Skadden Arps who has provided legal advice to small, mid-sized and large companies, such as Cisco Systems, Rainbow Media and AMC Networks. - Kobi Wu Pasmore is founder and CEO of Visuwall Technologies, a physical to mobile ad platform that leverages vacant storefront windows and turns them into smart billboards with computer vision and mobile proximity technologies, allowing advertisers to connect directly with consumers. Moderating our panel will be Michael Smith, founder of Experienced Professionals Agency and Pathwise Consulting. Prior to starting his companies, Michael spent a full career at KPMG as a consultant.
