Please join us for two in-depth presentations from the NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS). SBS helps unlock economic potential and create economic security for all New Yorkers by connecting New Yorkers to good jobs, creating stronger businesses, and building thriving neighborhoods across the five boroughs. Their representatives will explain how to become a certified M/WBE (Minority & Women-Owned Business) enterprise. This certification is the essential first step in making the City, as a potential buyer, aware that you are a minority or women-owned business. They will also introduce the brand new online Business Education program. This program is intended to help NYC entrepreneurs along their journey by equipping them with the core knowledge, skills, and tools they need to succeed in business and accelerate their growth.
