An evening of drinks, hors d'oeuvres & networking ft. a panel discussion on the future of blockchain, hosted by The Divi Project. First came the Web 1.0, known for having few content creators with a vast majority of users being passive content consumers. Next, the Web 2.0, which has seen the internet become a socially integrated, contributive and interconnected platform. We are now moving full force into the Web 3.0: characterized primarily by distributed computing and immutable transactions made possible by blockchain technology. At its core, the next generation Web is emerging as a restoration of privacy and personal information to users – invoking a wave of new, borderless opportunities. In a conversation moderated by NYT Best-Selling Author Tim Sanders, CEO of Deeper Media & former CSO of Yahoo, panelists will explore the concept of distributing, processing, and hosting data across computers globally without centralized control. What will it take to scale DApps across billions of users? What immediate opportunities does the Web 3.0 hold and what are the challenges in achieving its widespread adoption?
