500 Startups is an early-stage seed fund and accelerator program founded by PayPal and Google alumni. We have invested in over 1200 internet startups in ~50 countries all over the world. We run an incubation and accelerator program emphasizing design & user experience, distribution & customer acquisition, and lean startup practices & metrics.

Our investment team is comprised of 25 people who speak ~20 languages and operate in 17 different countries. Our team and mentors have had operational experience at companies such as: PayPal, Google, YouTube, Yahoo, Microsoft, eBay, LinkedIn, Twitter, Apple & Facebook.

Headquartered in Mountainview, 500 also operates a coworking space in New York City.
