To do that, we have created two tools that highlight the risks, causes, and solutions to sea level rise which we aggressively market: + FloodiQ.com a big data, property-level flood risk tool, which visualizes your risk of flooding today and up to 15 years in the future as sea levels rise + Sealevelrise.org a simple but digitally-rich educational site that explains sea level rise and flooding, that is tailored at a state-specific level Our team is made up of some of the most talented and passionate people working in digital media and communications, as well as data science and geographic information systems. The successful person will work to craft and communicate our unique story to journalists and other thought leaders; devise specific communications materials and campaigns based on understanding of journalists' interests; engage in face-to-face meetings with commentators and other opinion formers; develop print and web-based material supporting these campaigns; and counter misinformation that might interfere with our ability to create the change we are looking for. We are looking for a quick-witted, entrepreneurial and intellectually curious person to join the team. To succeed here, you'll need to be able to combine creativity with the organizational skills to manage numerous different projects to tight deadlines simultaneously, as well as enjoy pitching to all kinds of journalists, bloggers and commentators.
