Summary New Visions’ CloudLab is dedicated to empowering educators with free, flexible tools for the redesign of teaching and learning. Our suite of digital products include some of the most popular Add-ons in the GSuite marketplace (Doctopus, autoCrat, formMule, and many more), and have helped thousands of teachers around the world simplify their workflow, personalize their feedback, respond quickly to student need, and communicate more effectively with students and families. We are looking to support the long-term growth of a product manager eager to create tools that educators love. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with a cross-functional team of designers, developers, and instructional coaches to shape the future of our products. What you’ll do -Gain a deep understanding of underlying user needs and pain points -Lead discovery for new product and feature development -Work with designers and developers to create and test design solution -Translate design solutions into detailed requirements for developers -Scope and prioritize product releases based on user impact -Act as a CloudLab evangelist to build brand awareness and expand the use of CloudLab tools among educators Must have -Bachelor’s Degree -2+ years of product management experience -Advanced knowledge of GSuite products (Sheets, Docs, Slides, etc.) -Experience presenting in front of large audiences -Willingness to learn new skills Nice to have -Experience using New Visions’ CloudLab Add-ons -Knowledge of teacher pain points / needs -Knowledge of NYC public school system -Knowledge of NYC DOE source data systems (HSST/STARS, ATS, etc) -Knowledge of software development -Experience using product management tools (Pivotal Tracker, Jira, Product Board, Product Plan, etc.) New Visions for Public Schools is an equal opportunity employer.
