The Wally Shop is looking for a Retail Manager who can help oversee management of day to day vendor sourcing and management. This would include: managing our existing vendors and products, sourcing new vendors, overseeing development of new vendor on-boarding, and pipeline generation.
The Retail Manager will be tasked with making sure day to day vendor management "runs smoothly" by bringing efficient and effective systems to increase the productivity of The Wally Shop. Applicants should accordingly have strong communication, analytic, presentation and interpersonal skills. We are looking for someone with a go-getter attitude and entrepreneurial spirit.
Reporting to the COO, the Retail Manager will lead all things retail including (but not limited to) the following responsibilities:
- Manage daily and monthly vendor processes
- Source new vendor leads and coordinate on-boarding new products
- Create programatic pipelines for vendor leads
- Actively creates processes and automation that feed into foundation of role
- Work cross functionally to implement changes necessary to get job done
As a prerequisite, the successful candidate must have a passion for entrepreneurship and a strong interest in consumer brands. Additional requirements are:
