Better is looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter who will join our talent team to focus on building out our product and engineering organizations. This person will partner with our hiring managers to build creative talent strategies aimed at finding, attracting, and closing top candidates. You will also function as an ambassador of Better, working with our internal team to develop external partnerships (such as with the NYC tech community) to represent Better.
- Think outside of the box to find talent at every opportunity.
- Partner with hiring managers on developing a strong candidate experience.
- Develop creative product- and engineering-specific sourcing strategies.
- Update and manage our candidate pipeline via Greenhouse.
- Source candidates from various platforms.
- Tailor and post job listings for open positions.
- Own the candidate experience, guiding them through the hiring process.
- Greet, host, and sell candidates during onsite interviews.
- 3+ years of experience working with and recruiting engineers (and other highly technical roles).
- Remarkable organizational skills and relentless drive to improve efficiency.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High personal integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience working in a start-up and/or fast-paced environment preferred.
