As the UX Designer, you will help define and build core product functionality, craft the user experience and visual design and help shape the brand of Kindur. You will work closely with a hustlin' cross-functional team to transform the complexity of retirement planning into simple, easy-to-use product customers love. You’ll succeed by bringing the team on the design journey with you and advocating for the customer’s needs while delivering high-quality design.
What You’ll Do: Design the UX/UI of Kindur’s product with a high bar for quality, delivering final designs that incorporate elegant interaction, graphic and typography design. Build deep empathy for the needs of our customer through ongoing research and translate that into a delightful, easy-to-use product tailored to their specific needs and habits. Incorporate business objectives, technology opportunities and constraints and research insights into tangible experiences that create intuitive, digestible and actionable outcomes for users.
What You Bring:
Strong core design (visual and interaction) and presentation layer (HTML/CSS) skills you'll use to create clean, effective design solutions for a complex product.
Experience shipping elegant and effective consumer-facing digital products from idea through launch and in-market iteration.
Strong product sense and systems-thinking with an ability to turn complex concepts into human-centered experiences.
Ability to work in an ambiguous and changing environment with a bias towards giving and receiving feedback openly to team members.
Comfort not knowing all the answers, but balancing that humility with a drive to find them through collaboration with teammates and/or customers.
Bonus Points If You Bring:
Understanding of content strategy and/or conversational design.
Experience launching or building a consumer brand/product from scratch.
Experience implementing stellar design in financial services/insurance.
