New York-area startups and venture capitalists are making funding deals with the hopes of creating the next profitable company. Here's one deal announced Tuesday:
Who gets: InTurn, the New York City-based software-as-a-service platform that connects brands and retailers to buy and sell off-price fashion and apparel inventory.
Amount raised:$22.5 million Series B financing round. The company has raised $36 million to date.
Who invests: B Capital Group, the firm founded by Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin and Raj Ganguly, led the effort.
