Launch NY is still seeking beta testers for its "Investor Network," a digital networking tool that helps accredited investors source startup deals. The nonprofit has about 50 of the 100 early adopters it is seeking for the network and is extending the deadline to apply to July 26.
Launch NY is also hosting a series of webinars to educate people on the initiative. The Investor Network is one of several programs Launch NY runs to support startup dealflow in central and western New York. It also hosts a nonprofit seed fund backed by donors which has invested in nearly 40 startups for the past few years, along with a call-based for-profit investment mechanism it launched this year.
