Machine learning startup Spell raises $15 million

Artificial intelligence and machine learning are two aspects of the tech industry that show no sign of slowing down, being that they are being integrated with various other industries from construction to education. 

So it's no surprise that startups in this space continue to draw impressive venture capital rounds. The latest company to collect financing is Spell, a collaborative platform that lets anyone run machine learning experiments.

The New York-based shop is known for connecting clients with state-of-the-art hardware from big-name corporations like Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOG) and Microsoft Inc. (NASDAQ: MSFT), and providing them with the means to build AI.

On Thursday, it announced that it raised $15 million in funding from Eclipse Ventures and Two Sigma Ventures.
