Notation Capital announced yesterday it’s investing in audio-editing startup Bumpers.
“Tl;dr — Check out Bumpers on iOS,” the pre-seed Brooklyn-based venture capital fund wrote in its announcement.
Bumper is a tool intended to lower the barriers to entry for podcasting. It makes editing audio a lot easier, and also allows the user to break down their recording into tagged segments. It’s been called “Twitter for audio.”
“I wanted to make something that made editing audio diffusible,” Bumpers cofounder Ian Ownbey explained in a Bumpers recording with Notation Capital.
