Axial, $14 million: The M&A search and matching service, which connects middle-market CEOs with capital market professionals, raised a Series C. To date, Axial has raised a total of $33.5 million. Edison Partners led the effort along with existing investors Comcast Ventures, First Round and Redpoint Ventures.
