axle ai is a Delaware C Corp based in Boston, providing B-to-B software for video search and collaboration. We now have over 500 customers, including NBC Universal, HarvardX, Bleacher Report, Turner/CNN, PWC, REI, and Madison Square Garden. Our team has extensive experience in tech for media; our CEO pioneered MAM at Avid. $1.1m revenue planned in calendar 2018, largely bootstrapped; $150k recently invested by Quake Capital; now raising $1.5m.



Sam Bogoch

Sam was Director of Product Management at Avid, where he oversaw a turnaround and significant growth in Avid's Interplay/Media Central software business. He and his team grew revenues from $17m in 2007 to $55m in 2012.

Patrice was previously the product manager for SeeFile, a photo management product, before cofounding axle in 2012. His training is in IT, web development and international business.


Katy Scott

Katy joined axle soon after graduating Fitchburg State with a degree in Media and Communications and runs axle ai's day to day operations. She has helped drive double-digit revenue growth every year since 2014.


Jim Frantzreb

Jim oversaw Product Marketing for enterprise products at Avid prior to joining axle ai. He has also held executive marketing and sales positions at a number of prominent technology companies including Oracle/Sun Microsystems and RSA. He has an MBA from the Olin School at Babson.
