Overview
Waave Inc. is a taxi-enabled e-hailing platform that matches New York City passengers with taxis. The platform serves as a marketing channel for professional, licensed taxi drivers. WAAVE enabled applications allow drivers to accept smartphone requests for Yellow (“Medallion”) taxis as well as Green (“Boro”) taxis within the permissible zones of New York City. WAAVE received an e-hail license from TLC and intends to launch its app during 2017.
