In this all-day workshop geared towards professionals you'll learn how to design and implement blockchain technology to solve for business and other real-world needs. Taught by blockchain startup founder Pramod Chandersekhar, this class will a more advanced follow-up to his Introduction To Enterprise Blockchains: Choosing The Best For Your Business. About The Workshop: After an overview of top blockchain platforms including Hyperledger Fabric, JP Morgan Quorum and Stellar, the bulk of the class will focus on use cases in which blockchain - based solutions are a great fit. This may include use cases in finance, medicine and more which show the value of the features of blockchains. We'll also take use cases from the class audience and compare a blockchain based approach to an approach that is more traditional. Areas looked at may include trade workflows, real estate transations and more. Key theme items include: Keeping multiple systems in sync: what tools does blockchain bring to the table to do this? How is it different from other approaches so far? Immutable Data - how can blockchain based immutability be used to prove data is tamper-proof while maintaining privacy ? - Past student testimonial (now blockchain startup founder): " The course was great. The instructor is very knowledgabe in the soace abd was able to dig deep when I asked questions on blockchain technology" - * Please note - this is not a coding-focused workshop - the emphasis is on application architecture. However, it is suggested that attendees already have some understanding of enterprise blockchains, perhaps have already taken an introductory course and want to take their understanding to the next level. About the Instructor: Pramod Chandersekhar is the Founder and CEO of Peppermint Chain (formerly Theta-Chain) a company which strives to make blockchain look like a database and make the technology more accessible to developers at large companies. He has taught Enterprise Blockchain courses previously Prior to founding Theta-Chain Pramod worked for over 20 years as an architect designing and implementing systems for Fortune 500 companies in supply-chain and finance. He has developed a variety of large systems ranging from Order Management products to high throughput Financial Reporting systems and high volume online portals. His recent foray into crypto-systems in silicon-manufacturing introduced him to Merkle trees and blockchains. Since then his goal with Theta-Chain has been to make Blockchain technology more accessible to developers in large enterprises. ** Please email [email protected] regarding student rates.
