With the support of the Hewlett Foundation and S&P Global, the National Security Institute is excited to host “Decompiling the Government: Getting Technologists and Policymakers to Speak the Same Language.” This event brings together technologists and leading policymakers, lawyers, and journalists to bridge the gap between non-technical and technical cyber professionals. The event will be fairly light touch – a networking happy hour with a short talk by Lisa Monaco, former Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism and current Distinguished Senior Fellow at New York University Law School and Senior Fellow at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, on how tech folks can get involved in policy. We invite you to join this exciting effort to develop a multidisciplinary community ready to tackle hard cybersecurity problems in the policy arena.
