Solve Challenge Finals in New York City is the premier social impact pitch event during UN General Assembly week. The event brings together the Solve community with a diverse group of innovators with solutions to Solve’s 2019 Global Challenges: Circular Economy, Community-Driven Innovation, Early Childhood Development, and Healthy Cities. During the event, these entrepreneurs will pitch their solutions to a panel of expert judges and a live audience. Those selected will form the next Solver class, joining the Solve community to build partnerships with cross-sector leaders—including Solve Members such as Starbucks, HP, Google, and Save the Children—that help pilot, scale, and implement their tech-based solutions and take action on complex Global Challenges. This year, there is over $1.6 million in potential funding available for the selected Solver teams, and recipients of the following Challenge prizes, among others, will be announced: The AI Innovations Prize supported by the Patrick J. McGovern Foundation and Schmidt Futures The GM Prize on Community-Driven Innovation and the GM Prize on Circular Economy Innovation for Women Prize supported by the Vodafone Americas Foundation Program participants at past Solve events include: The Right Honourable Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister, Canada Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Amina J.
