SparkPlug is Y&R’s global innovation incubator that offers free office space, resources and relationships to interesting companies and idea generators that may provide value to us or our brands, with zero equity fees. Companies can focus on building their game changing ideas, technology and products and in exchange, we invite you to share new ways of thinking, introduce innovative technologies and forge productive partnerships with us.
We bring in 5 startups in every cycle. The program will run for 6 months with an opportunity to renew. We assign agency champions from key client teams to each startup to help you navigate the agency and make introductions in order to maximize your time here. Other program benefits may include mentorship from industry leaders, demo days, hackathons, start-up seminars, client introductions, participation in innovation conferences, and investment funding and acquisition discussions.
We are looking for companies that are a good fit with our agency and our industry, that help us tell better and more powerful brand stories. Verticals we are interested in are broadly: Content, New Formats (Eg: VR, Platforms), Product Development, Mobile, Social Media, Non-profit.
Once you have been part of the program, you will become part of the SparkPlug community and can continue to work with us and our agency.
Currently the program is accepting applications for New York. Deadline: December 31, 2016.
