Partnership Fund for NYC
Details
Overview
Founded in 1996 by Henry R. Kravis and capitalized by NYC’s leaders in business and finance, the Partnership Fund leverages its investors’ civic-driven capital and their business expertise to further strengthen the city’s innovation economy and to create opportunities and jobs in low and moderate income communities. The Fund invests in tech verticals critical to legacy industries in NYC, among them financial services, healthcare and fashion/retail through its annual programs: Fin Tech Innovation Lab; NY Digital Health Accelerator and NY Fashion Tech Lab. The Fund also invests in the life sciences, providing proof-of-concept and seed funding to biotech spin outs from New York’s major academic institutions through its BioAccelerate Prize program. Outside of these core tech sectors, the Fund also invests in advanced manufacturing, food, energy & infrastructure and social enterprises.
