Digital.NYC Selects City’s Top Tech and Startup Events for Q1 2016

 

Industry Preview, Social Media Week, and Digital Marketing Innovation Summit are selected as the top events in the first quarter of the year

January 11, 2016 -- New York, NY -- Digital.NYC, the official online hub of the New York City startup and technology ecosystem, today announced its selection of the best tech and startup events coming up in Q1 2016. Industry Preview, Social Media Week, and Digital Marketing Innovation Summit were named the monthly Spotlight Events for January, February, and March respectively. In addition to celebrating these top events, Digital.NYC will give away event tickets or similar prizes to the community for participating events.

“New York City is unique in the diversity of industries and perspectives it brings to these events,” said Marcos Dinnerstein, Editor of Digital.NYC. “These conferences are a forum for entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and innovators to exchange ideas and build off of each other’s experiences. By celebrating these events we hope to engage more New Yorkers with the City’s growing tech and startup economy.”

January Spotlight Event: Industry Preview | January 20-21, 2016

Industry Preview is a 2-day event looking forward in the next year of digital marketing. It is aimed at the creators of new digital marketing technologies and the forward-thinking marketers that leverage those technologies to make better consumer experiences. Attendees will hear from 55 speakers including marketing and advertising executives from media companies, internet retailers, banks, and major tech companies. Among those presenting this year are Noah Brier, CEO of Percolate, Matt Asay, VP of Mobile, Adobe, Julie Brill, Commissioner, Federal Trade Commission, and Patrick Harris, Head of Global Agency Development, Facebook. Participants also have the opportunity to network with hundreds of colleagues across industries.

February Spotlight Event: Social Media Week | February 22-26, 2016

Social Media Week convenes professionals from the marketing, media, and technology sectors in New York City as one of 18 events worldwide. Thousands of senior marketers, founders, entrepreneurs, influencers, and digital innovators across verticals will discuss the many ways that we can now connect, purchase, and discover digitally. The 2016 theme is The Invisible Hand: Hidden Forces of Technology (and How We Can Harness it for Good).

March Spotlight Event: Digital Marketing Innovation Summit | March 10-11, 2016

Digital Marketing Innovation Summit is a conference for high-level professionals in digital marketing from all industries that prides itself on the quality of their programming. The smaller audience of about 150 allows for more meaningful connections and opportunities to participate in conversations about how to best engage your audience.
