Where NYC meets New York Startups

Certified Company Directory Information

The City provides a central directory for prospective purchasers to learn about Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprises (M/WBEs) and Locally-based Enterprises (LBEs) that are certified to do business with the City of New York. The directory lists previous contract wins and contract information.

NYC Tech Talent Pipeline

The Tech Talent Pipeline is a collaboration between businesses, community groups, training providers, government, and academic institutions announced by the Mayor in May 2014. This initiative provides leadership, funding, and support to public and private partners working to deliver technology education, training, and job opportunities to underserved New Yorkers.

Non-Profit Assistance

NYC and Company Membership

Doing Business Search

The Doing Business Portal lets you search for information on vendors, lobbyists, and non-lobbyists who do business with the City of New York. You can get help on how to use the application as well as answers to frequently asked questions about the Doing Business search.

City Vendor Information

The City provides information about doing business with New York City. The City's Fiscal Management and Operations office answers questions about payments and invoices from suppliers who do business with the City.

Lease City Property

The City provides information about short- and long-term commercial leases on City-owned property. Asset Management is responsible for the management of the inventory of City-owned real estate, both buildings and vacant lots.

Division of Minority and Women's Business Development

The mission of DMWBD is to promote equality of economic opportunities for MWBEs and to eliminate barriers to their participation in state contracts.
