Overview

At CathBuddy, Inc. we’re building a safer, more sustainable, and more affordable urinary catheterization system that allows users to safely reuse catheters. The CathBuddy system consists of an RFID-tagged reusable urinary catheter; an intuitive, touchless insertion and lubrication aid; and a patented at-home sterilizer that can sterilize up to 6 catheters and insertion aids simultaneously.

Souvik started CathBuddy, Inc. after his close friend was in a car accident, sustained a spinal cord injury, and became reliant on catheters in order to urinate. Former Johnson & Johnson Design Strategist and Project Manager with a focus on Consumer Medical Devices. Led over $1mm in engagements with Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, including strategy development for combating the myopia epidemic in APAC with senior leadership in the region.
