Overview

Susty uses non-toxic and plastic-free materials to create beautifully designed household products that are convenient and affordable. Existing products include disposable tableware, paper towels, to-go cups with lids and garbage bags. Susty products are sold in both traditional retail and online sales channels and are currently carried in Whole Foods Markets nationwide and sold online and on Amazon.com.

Emily Doubilet

Emily graduated from Oberlin College, where she founded the Recycled Products Co-op & a guerilla theater group, & earned a degree in Environmental Studies. She served three years as sustainability director at eco-friendly durable surfaces manufacturer IceStone. Her band created original music & videos that reached #1 on mtv.com & appeared in National Geographic. She's won Forbes 30 Under 30 & Hitachi Foundation's Young Entrepreneur Award.

Derek leads Grosvenor Capital Management's Customized Fund Investment Group’s (CFIG) co-investment team & the group’s emerging domestic managers practice, & is a Director at National Association of Investment Companies. He was Managing Director in CFIG of Credit Suisse, Managing Partner at Oncore Capital, founding partner of Provender Capital & partner at Cornerstone Equity. He received an MBA in Finance from NYU & a BA from American University.
