Overview
Wedge Technologies is developing a patented "Wedge Wind Turbine," an innovative multi-blade horizontal axis wind turbine. This ground-breaking design offers an alternative wind turbine product to the commercial/industrial urban consumer where typical 3-blades or variations of 3 blades are not always the consumer’s best choice. Wedge Tech is in an ideal position to take advantage of an under-utilized urban domestic wind turbine market.
Management
Lori-Lee Emshey
Lori-Lee graduated with Bachelors of Science (honors) from University of Toronto. She spent more than 4 years patenting and developing the wedge wind turbine. In 2009 she co-founded Wedge Technologies. She has also worked in consulting and technical writing in the energy industry.
Joel Ndreu, PE
Joel is an Electrical Engineer with over 9 years of experience in the building industry. He has extensive experience integrating renewable energy systems into new and existing buildings. Joel is currently pursuing an MBA at NYU Stern with a focus in entrepreneurship and finance.
Benjamin Lee Cramer
Benjamin brings organizational development skills and experience building lasting relationships to the Wedge team. He completed his BA in International Studies with a focus on non-profit management. Currently, he is working towards an MA in Sustainable Entrepreneurism at NYU’s Gallatin Program.
