2018 Games for Change Festival

From June 28 - 30 2018, Games for Change will celebrate the 15th annual G4C Festival. Join us as we highlight the groundbreaking work that has been done in the G4C community in the last decade and a half, and discover what the games for good sector will look like in the next 15 years. With over 1000+ attendees, the G4C Festival has been dubbed by the media as the “Sundance of Video Games”. Featured Festival speakers have included U.S Vice President Al Gore, Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor, Valve co-founder Gabe Newell, game designer Jane McGonigal, Atari founder Nolan Bushnell and creator of Civilization, Sid Meier along with participation from leading tech companies such as Oculus, Google, Microsoft, Intel, IBM and Magic Leap.

Calling All Volunteers!

Come volunteer at the 2018 Games for Change Festival, June 25th - June 30th! The G4C Festival is an event that brings together more than 800 people in the fields of gaming, technology, health, civics, and education to collaborate and drive real-world change. Taking place at the Parsons the New School of Design in NYC (66 5th Ave on 13th street), this year's Festival features three tracks of programming, each highlighting an emerging area of research and innovation within the games for impact sector: Civics & Social Impact, Neurogaming & Health, and The Games for Learning Summit. This year we are also presenting our XR for Change Summit, an event devoted to mixed reality projects including those that use VR, MR and AR. Every year, G4C relies on the support of volunteers to bring the Festival to life. We welcome your expertise and enthusiasm, as it helps elevate the experience for everyone. In exchange for volunteering, you are invited to attend part of the Festival, where you will hear from experts, share and explore groundbreaking ideas, and play new impact games. Make new friends, expand your network and have fun supporting the gaming, education, wellness, and social change communities. Anyone is welcome!
