Bloomberg Beta

Bloomberg Beta is an early-stage fund, backed by Bloomberg L.P., that invests and makes companies. They focus on areas that are broadly of interest to Bloomberg, but choose investments independently and invest for financial return. Bloomberg Beta's goal is to expand Bloomberg's horizons by backing extraordinary entrepreneurs, or creating companies, who have something to teach the world.

Investments include Codecademy, Home Brew, Layer, Angellist and Thinkup.
