Crain’s New York Business reports (Dec. 4, 2017) that New York City’s Taxi and Limousine Commission, “…is offering a deal to a coalition of ride-hail and car-service companies, but it’s not clear Uber and its new allies are going to take it.”
The deal would require the ‘for hire’ vehicle operators to have a percentage of their fleet be wheelchair-accessible. This is not making either the ‘for hire’ companies nor advocates for the disabled satisfied. Read more…
