Overview

Alpha Quotient was founded in 2013 with the mission of transforming the higher education funding model. The AQ rating system is a proprietary method of rating the long term economic value of academic institutions, businesses, and individuals. Similar to how the Intelligence Quotient (I.Q.) measures cognitive ability and human intelligence, and how the Emotional Quotient (E.Q.) measures social and interpersonal intelligence, AQ measures academic intelligence along with a proprietary combination of social and intellectual assessment. Utilizing this rating, students can seek to finance or refinance their education through Alpha Quotient's P2P lending portal, where they can connect to both institutional investors and individual accredited investors. Unlike traditional funding methods, our partners fund students through income sharing agreements known as Alpha Pacts. In exchange for funding, students pay the investor back a fixed percentage of their income for a set number of years. Alpha Pacts benefit students by helping them save money, reduce risk, and becoming debt free sooner.
