Overview

The BeneStream system screens and enrolls eligible workers in Medicaid for $240 annually which saves the employer the cost of insurance (average $6,000 annually) or a fine ($2,000-3,000 annually). The ACA employer mandate requires employers offer insurance to employees. There are tens of millions of people in the US who qualify for Medicaid. BeneStream now has > 90 employer clients and 29 insurance broker partners for distribution.

Ben is a seasoned entrepreneur in health care politics and policy. Before founding BeneStream, he was the founder and managing principal of Hudson TG, which he ran for four years. Previously, Ben worked as a lawyer at Kaye Scholer LLP and Schulte Roth & Zabel, LLP and has a JD from Fordham Law School.

Bryan Exner

Bryan is a partner of Bluemark, LLC. He drives the company’s technical direction, developing new software products and ensuring compliance with product vision. Bryan developed the core architecture of the Medical Application Processing System (MAPSng) software for use in administration and processing for public assistance programs.

Rajesh Ankalkoti

Rajesh's experience in corporate advisory work has included resolving highly complex situations – including bankruptcy, restructuring, M&A, and litigation. Recently, he worked at Alvarez & Marsal, where he was part of the restructuring team for Lehman Brothers. He previously worked at Deloitte and Anderson. Rajesh has an MBA from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business and is a certified public accountant.
