Overview

CityWide Energy Action, LLC. (CEA) is diverting food waste (organic materials) from landfills and incinerators and transform them into an affordable and viable renewable energy alternative. CEA was formed as a joint venture in 2013, and specializes in the design, construction, and operation of Anaerobic Digestion (AD) facilities. CEA is scheduled to start construction on their first waste to energy facility in mid 2016.

Jim Bebon

In 2007, Mr. Bebon formed Unified Waste Resources, a corporate advisory firm that delivers business solutions to the recycling and waste management industries. The company has focused on initiatives that reduce waste output to landfills, increasing recycling efforts, and strategizing ways to develop waste-to-energy facilities.

Founding Member / Lead Environmental Engineer

Rich Galli

Mr. Galli has thirty six years of experience in the design and engineering of municipal, industrial and hazardous waste treatment facilities including municipal landfills, solid waste management facilities, surface impoundments, and the design and construction of Anaerobic Digestion Facilities. He has extensive experience in the areas of biological waste and heavy metal removal treatment systems.

Mark Lembo

Mark Lembo is a native Long Islander who has resided in Suffolk County for the last 50 years. Mark is a true environmentalist. He has been involved in many local organizations such as the Shoreham Wading River Board of Education, Brookhaven Supervisor Brian Foley's Economic Development Transition Team, and the Riverhead Small Business Advisory Committee.
