85% of the world's wireless plans are pay-as-you-go. Farrow Ventures rewards wireless users in high growth markets with prepaid cellphone credit in exchange for ads on their lock screen. Joel & Isaac Phillips founded Farrow Ventures in NYC . In 2014, they partnered with Ernesto & Diego Vargas to launch in their 1st market, Mexico. After launch in April, their app Pig.gi has >10% w/w growth in daily active users & is showing 180,000 ads a day.

Joel Phillips

Joel has founded and led several startups over the past several years. In July 2014 he cofounded Farrow Ventures with his brother, Isaac. In April of 2015 they launched Pig.gi in its first market, Mexico. He is currently based between NYC and Mexico City, where operations and developing is currently taking place. He graduated from Columbia University where he studied Economics.

Isaac Phillips

Isaac has been building mobile platforms since 2009. Since then he has worked for telcos and media companies in new media and mobile strategy. He has founded several apps including Tagg.ly, which is used by journalists around the world to get credit for their photos. Isaac is fluent in Spanish, French, and English and is based in NYC.
