Overview

As of 2012, 16.7% of the U.S. population (52 million) identifies as Latino. We are the first NYC-based artists collective run by Latinas. We are immigrants making theater for the general American public. Collectively, we devise universal stories through the lens of our experiences. Our main tool is physical theater which we define as using the performer’s body as the jump off point of creation.

Sandie Luna

Sandie Luna is an actress, mover, director and producer who studied Theater and Sociology at Florida State University. She has trained with Pantheatre, Stemwerk, Atlantic Theater School, SITI Company, with the Puerto Rican Traveling Theater’s writers division, and Labyrinth Theater’s Masterclass amongst others. Debora Balardini

Debora Balardini has been teaching and performing for the past twenty years in several countries including Japan, Argentina, United States, France and her native Brazil. She has an extensive dance background in ballet, jazz, and tap as well as Hatha yoga. As an actress, she has been exposed to various physical theatre techniques such as Grotowski, Stemwerk, Suzuki, View Points, and most recently Choreographic Theatre and Roy Hart Technique which
