Overview

- We design, market and distribute lifestyle products in the fast growing multi-billion dollar Wearable Technology market at the intersection of fashion and technology. We focus on making people’s lives more carefree with the help of smart devices attached to consumer products or integrated into them. - In recent years, people have become increasingly willing to integrate technology (apps and wearables) into their lives to increase their physical wellbeing. Athleisure has emerged as an important trend. We are on a mission to build the equivalent for mental wellbeing. - Our first product is a versatile and beautifully designed Bluetooth accessory that creates a virtual leash between an individual and each of their belongings. It immediately reminds you when you forget any of your most important possessions - when you leave home or when you are out and about. - Our team combines the key capabilities to succeed in Wearable Technology: a jewelry designer and fashion executive with 10 years of experience, an award-winning mobile developer and a former VP of strategy and finance experienced in implementing large-scale IT projects. - In the long run, THE O has the potential to fundamentally change the way people do things: from internal business processes, to consumer product marketing or short-term item rentals. - We recently successfully delivered 5,000 FCC/CE certified devices and native mobile apps for iOS and Android to the 1,000 first customers who pre-ordered THE O during our Kickstarter campaign and during pre-sales and we now have stock available in the US. - Major department stores and selected specialty stores in the US and the UK are currently assessing the product and placing orders.

Christian is outstanding for his capability to transform ideas, challenges and complexities into clear action plans and he excels in building and managing motivated high-performing teams. He used to advise big companies on key strategic topics and implemented challenging business transformation projects. He led large cross-functional senior teams and managed the business side of software development. Christian holds an MBA and an MSc.

Rose Wilson

Rose masters the skill of creating desirable products and brands. She spent ten years working for small fashion houses helping them create strong design visions and brand strategies. Her most recent role was with Maria Grachvogel where she developed a one-showroom business into a global luxury brand. Before Maria’s, she ran her own successful jewelry label for almost five years. Rose was trained in jewelry design, holds a B.A. and an MBA.

Agustín Castiñeria Fernández

Agustín is an extremely talented designer who is highly capable of creating the full spectrum of the visual side of the brand from digital content to packaging and product design. With a background in industrial design and mechanical engineering, he has a deep understanding of the technical requirements in the context of hardware manufacturing.

CTO

Gaston Martin

Before joining THE O, Gaston repeatedly developed outstanding mobile apps that were featured by Apple, Time and others. He is a design enthusiast and highly analytical problem solver holding a degree in Mathematics in addition to his Computer Science degree. He has held the title of a CTO before.
